We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what is collected when you visit the site or buy a book, and why.
Browsing the site
The site is static and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) is enabled, it counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data or building visitor profiles. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and troubleshooting.
Buying a book
Checkout is operated by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. When you buy, you provide your name, email and billing details directly to Lemon Squeezy; they process the payment, calculate tax, send your receipt and deliver the file. We receive a limited order record (your email, what you bought, country, and order ID) so we can provide support and send the file if needed. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
Email list
If you sign up for our newsletter we store your email address to send occasional updates and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from the list.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data.
- We don't run third-party ad or social tracking pixels.
- We don't knowingly collect data from children. Purchases are made by adults.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop marketing to you. Email ask@doodleandroar.top and we'll respond within 30 days. For payment and billing data, contact Lemon Squeezy directly as the controller for that data.
Retention
Order records are kept as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
